What we expect from our players...

• Maintain good academic standing in school
• Respect the program, teammates, parents, coaches and opponents
• Have an open approach to learning and a positive attitude
• Are willing to make sacrifices to get to practices, games, workshops, etc.
• Enjoy playing softball and having fun with teammates 

MENTORSHIP & CAREER CONNECTIONS

A committed group of professionals from a variety of fields will help mentor players as they work through DTB age brackets.
 
This professional network will allow DTB athletes to develop meaningful mentoring relationships; connect athletic “competition curriculum” to workplace practice; explore career opportunities; and appreciate the realities and expectations of life as a working professional.
 
* The DTB program is developing shadowing and internship opportunities for DTB athletes in the 16U as well as DTB young alumni.

What we expect from our parents...

• Are supportive of the DTB mission statement not only around the program, but at home as well
• Conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the philosophy of the program
• Respect the program, their daughters and their daughters’ teammates
• Are willing to make the sacrifices needed to get their daughters to practices, games, workshops, etc.
• Enjoy watching their daughters play softball.

​DTB athletes who are considering playing in college will learn how to navigate the process and alleviate the stress involved in the college athletic search.

RESEEDING THE GAME
Giving back to the community is a pillar of the DTB culture, and the program provides opportunities for athletes to get involved through our DTB volunteer arm, “Reseeding the Game.”
